2023 Ben's Dragons Back Race

Update

Just to let you know that Ben 'broke the dragon's back' i.e. completed the 380km run,17400m climb in 6 days. It took him just over 86 hours of running, scrambling up and down mountains - Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the Cambrian Mountains and the Brecon Beacons - and he reached the finish on Saturday night within the time limits. A fantastic achievement by Ben, raising £1500 for the Ella Rose Fund. Thank you so much to Ben and to those of you who sponsored him.

Ella's cousin, Ben, is running the Dragon's Back Race, a gruelling 6 day run from Conwy Castle to Cardiff Castle via Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons. He is raising money for the Ella Rose Fund and CALM, a suicide prevention helpline. It is an amazing challenge to run for that distance (380km/236 miles) and for that length of time.
